If you are considering installing a solar panel system, it is important that the panel faces in the sun's direction. Although this seems obvious, you would be surprised how many people forget this step. If your panel does not have sun, it won't power up. If you live in the Northern hemisphere, your panel should face South towards the horizon.
Don't walk on solar panels unless you really need to. They cost a lot of money, and you don't want to inadvertently damage them. Do not walk on the ends, as they are the most unstable parts.
You should never feel pressured to buy something, especially an expensive solar energy system. These types of salespeople are pretty common in this industry. You can tell them you'll be back later, and they should be fine with it. If they are persistent about making a deal now, tell them that the deal should be just as good in the future. Making decisions under pressure can be more costly later on.
