When selecting solar panels, don't just go by price. Panels can vary by size, wattage, brand, warranty, performance and materials. Because of this, you should thoroughly research all the solar panels and select the highest quality one rather than the cheapest one. Purchase the highest quality panels that your budget will allow.
You can be free of the power grid when you generate your own solar power. You, yourself, can get it work, making your family more independent than your neighbors. In other words, you won't need to change electric services should you move, nor will you see high electric bills anymore.
Once your solar panels are installed, you need to keep track of how much power you are producing and using on a daily basis.
